This is a blog about lots of different stuff. The main authors are Ben Britten and Brent Lord. We are both technical types with creative backgrounds and we both freelance and live off of our creative endeavors. This is a place we are creating so that we can talk about crap that doesnt fit into our other creations. So, lots of stuff about how we do the stuff we do, or what we think about certain things. Expect informative bits, politival bits, useless ephemera, and other stuff related to the independant creative industry (mostly film/music/web).
Brent writes music, and does lots of other really cool stuff. He works in the ‘music biz’, and has credits on all sorts of stuff from full-length muscials to MTV documetaries. He works and runs fatlabMusic. You should check it out.
Ben writes software and occasionally take photographs. He works in the ‘Film Biz’ and has worked on lots of movies operating the software that he wrote to control suspended camera systems. In his travels he has managed to aquire an Emmy Nomination and an Academy Award for Technical Achievement. He has also spent lots of time on the sets of various indie film projects.
